Whether you’re new to riding bicycles or you’ve been riding your whole life, we can help you raise your game. This two-day clinic in Northern Vermont will connect you with NAA mentors and fellow women riders in a fun and supportive atmosphere to dial in skills, overcome challenges, and get you on track for a great experience at the Rooted Vermont event in August.

The Rooted-NAA Women’s Gravel Retreat will span two days: June 15 and 16. The retreat will focus on connection, learning, and skills work, and will include one no-drop gravel ride. This is not a training camp, so please plan for a relaxed, low volume weekend. Whether or not you are familiar with the terms “no-drop” and “low volume,” you’re in the right place! We have designed the weekend to benefit everyone, from those just getting into the sport to those who have raced for years.
We offer the clinic for free (or for a voluntary donation), and your registration includes:
Two days of inspiration, connection, guidance, and support from NAA mentors
Ride food and hydration
Professional mechanical support
3 Raffle Tickets
TRAVEL Please note that you are responsible for your own travel, accommodation, and meals (aside from light breakfasts/snacks). We plan to start 8am Saturday and to wrap up mid-afternoon Sunday to account for return travel. We recommend planning to arrive on Friday and to depart on Sunday evening or on Monday. We also recommend extending your stay to explore the natural beauty and phenomenal food scene in Vermont! If you have questions or would like help with your travel plans, please click here to email Amber.

WHAT TO BRING Closer to the event, we will send out lists with suggestions for what to bring and for what you may want to do before coming to the retreat. In general, though, here are a few things to keep in mind. Dress is comfy and casual! This is Vermont, after all, and you will be among friends. Check the weather closer to the event to inform your final packing decisions. We suggest the easiest possible gearing for your bike, because although we won’t be racing or climbing the Alps, Vermont is famous for punchy terrain (think short but steep climbs).
We are working on other possible perks, so register now to get email updates and additional details! If you wish to make a donation to NAA in an amount other than those available through the registration process, then register for free and click here to donate via the PayPal Giving Fund (no fees).
